Success is a series of small victories.

It’s so funny because so often (especially at work right now) I hear people talking about how to be transformational, thinking big, taking risks and shooting for some sort of exceptional thing (that’s mostly what social media suggests - aim for this grand and rewarding life that is ‘gram worthy). And yet in my personal life, and in the life of a parent carer, I find it’s the small victories and the incremental steps in the right direction that are the most rewarding - and no matter how small, they must be celebrated! For our sanity and to help us keep going if nothing else.

This may look like a poorly taken photo of Arlo, but in this photo represents a small but significant victory this week. Who knows how long this will last for us but it’s these winning moments that mean we keep going, keep persevering.

What was your small victory this week? Did you simply get through another day where all medication is in their system and all physio is done? Then f$$$ing celebrate it! You rock!

And Arlo - you rock a little milky tash! It is a gorgeous lewk!

Arlo’s Army: We Won’t Stop Until CF Does

There’s no cure for CF yet. Even with groundbreaking new treatments, daily life for people with CF remains a heavy burden and many aren't eligible for these new drugs. That's why we're raising money. To fund cutting-edge research. To support families like ours. To keep pushing until CF stands for Cured Forever.

CF affects over 11,000 people in the UK — and more than 100,000 globally. It impacts the lungs, pancreas, and other organs, turning mucus thick and sticky, and making everyday life a battle for breath.

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is leading the charge to change this. They fund game-changing science, support families, and fight for better treatments, care, and — one day — a cure.

Join Arlo’s Army today.

Stand with us. Donate. Share. Fight for a future where no child has to grow up fighting CF.
