We don’t let Arlo watch tv at all other than when he has to do his physio. We discovered that there’s a huge selection of videos on YouTube especially designed for baby sensory purposes and they are great at holding Arlo’s attention whilst he does his PEP. (Our favourites are the Hey Bear videos.) These videos are specialmy designed for babies from pretty much newborn age and so they are not at all damaging to development like regular tv can be - AND since showing them to Arlo’s CF team at one of his clinics they also come paediatrician approved. The team thought it was a great idea!😆👍

Obviously it was not an option when Arlo was still a newborn but as soon as he had sufficient head strength to sit on my knee for his baby PEP this is how we have done it. 📺

Recently he has started dancing on my knee afterwards which is beyond adorable. It’s great for him to have something fun after all the hard work.

And I pray that it lasts cause anything for an easy physio right?!?🙏

Arlo’s Army: We Won’t Stop Until CF Does

There’s no cure for CF yet. Even with groundbreaking new treatments, daily life for people with CF remains a heavy burden and many aren't eligible for these new drugs. That's why we're raising money. To fund cutting-edge research. To support families like ours. To keep pushing until CF stands for Cured Forever.

CF affects over 11,000 people in the UK — and more than 100,000 globally. It impacts the lungs, pancreas, and other organs, turning mucus thick and sticky, and making everyday life a battle for breath.

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is leading the charge to change this. They fund game-changing science, support families, and fight for better treatments, care, and — one day — a cure.

Join Arlo’s Army today.

Stand with us. Donate. Share. Fight for a future where no child has to grow up fighting CF.
